In attention to the health emergency derived from the threat of COVID-19, and in line with the measures adopted by the government of the Republic of El Salvador, committed and aware of our responsibility to protect the health of our guests, employees, collaborating providers and the community, we communicate that:
On a voluntary basis we decided that from March 16, 2020 and until further notice, our facilities will remain closed to the public.
We highly appreciate your support and understanding.
El Salvador has point breaks gracing most of its 300km coastline. It is home to two world-class waves: Punta Roca one of the best right-hand points in the world and Punta Mango as well.
Another nice bonus, warm water all the year round ensures that you can surf in board shorts. A full rash vest is advisable for sun protection, as is decent waterproof sunscreen.
The main swell season, March to October, coincides with the rainy season. The south swells during this time can get up to 10ft – the points really come alight! The rest of the year November to February produces surfable waves so a trip here can be taken any time.
In the off season the winds are almost constantly offshore and it is perfect for beginners to improve their skill or take surf lessons with local instructors, so things are not all bad.
